In this position you will work in the shop handling auto parts, ordering auto parts, and helping with shipping / receiving of the auto parts.
Duties:
- Receive incoming shipments and verify the contents against purchase orders or invoices - Inspect packages for damage or discrepancies and report any issues to the appropriate personnel - Unpack, label, and stock items in designated storage areas - Prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, and labeling items according to customer orders - Maintain accurate inventory records by updating information in the system - Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent - Previous experience in shipping, receiving, auto part knowledge - Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately record information - Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively - Ability to work independently as well as part of a team - Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) If you are a motivated individual with a strong work ethic and a passion for ensuring efficient shipping and receiving processes of auto parts we encourage you to apply for this position.
