The most important requirement when working for our clinic is the ability to genuinely serve our patients on every level, including the ability to enhance patient satisfaction and increase office efficiency.
You must be able to positively impact patients, coworkers, referring offices and the practice as a whole.
Responsibilities and Duties:
FRONT DESK EXPERIENCE & INSURANCE KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED Experience in billing and coding preferred Expertly answer a multi-line phone Schedule appointments and create patient accounts Prepare medical records Review and verify accuracy of billing data and revise any errors Prepare and submit claims to insurance companies Coordinate with medical office staff to clarify billing discrepancies Handle collections as needed Verify insurance benefits and obtain necessary authorizations Coordinate referrals to other healthcare providers as directed by physicians Work closely with other professionals to form a highly effective team which attends to the administrative tasks of the office.
